The inevitable happened once more at the Tour de France, as a rider was thrown off his bike after knocking into fan paraphernalia.
France's Lilian Calmejane, of Intermarché–Circus–Wanty, was riding with the peloton when a flag made of jerseys tangled with his bike and threw him onto the road.
Naturally, the cyclist was furious with the braindead supporter and tossed the jerseys away in disgust.
It brings back memories of the 2021 Tour de France, when a supporters sign brought down hoards of riders, and was given a a four-month suspended prison sentence for her actions.
Sights like these will continue to happen given the nature of fans at at the famous race.
