Mark Cavendish made significant contact with Tom Veelers as he looked to get past him for the victory sprint during at the climax of stage ten of the 2013 Tour de France.

Cavendish eventually finished third in the stage behind Veeler's Argos teammate Marcel Kittel. David Walsh's analysis on Twitter suggested the former Team Sky star may not have been the only cyclist at fault.
Looking at the crash again, Kittel's lead out man came off straight line in attempt to make it more difficult for Cavendish to get past.

Kittel's man Veelers sensed Cavendish coming, veered slightly to right to hinder him, Cavendish hit him with left shoulder, causing crash.

Cavendish reacted angrily to a question from a journalist asking whether he may have caused the crash. The 'Manx Missile' apparently stared him down, before saying "was the crash my fault?", snatching the reporter's Dictaphone out of his hand and returning to his team bus.
