Team Sky rider Geraint Thomas told media after stage 16 of the Tour de France that he was 'taken out' by a fellow rider.
As the Welshman turned a corner, he was bumped, forcing him off the road and he then hit his head on a telegraph pole.
Thomas has just spoken to journalists. He said he was "taken out" and hit his head against the "lamp post" but he is okay. #tdf15

The more you see crash, the worse it looks. As Thomas was forced off the road, he sent a fold up chair flying down in front of him #tdf15

Despite the crash, Thomas lost only 38 seconds and finished 34th overall on the stage.
Spanish rider Ruben Plaza won the stage, while Thomas' teammate Chris Froome still leads the general classification.
