Bangladesh met India in the Cricket World Cup this afternoon and missed out on the chance to consign the hosts to a second defeat of the tournament as a result of an absolutely extraordinary collapse. Bangladesh required just two runs off the final three balls to ensure victory, but proceeded to lose three consecutive wickets to allow India escape with victory.
The result means that Bangladesh cannot progress through the group stage to the semi-finals. Watch the Bangladesh batsmen choke below:
Incredibly, Bangladesh were 1/100 on to beat India with three balls remaining, and yet they collapsed.
That's a huge choke by Bangladesh.

Left the restaurant with Bangladesh needing 2 off 3 balls. Assume everything went fine?

Bangladesh batted, bowled & fielded much better than India tonight. Except for the last over. Next time don't try & end in a flashy fashion.

Astonishing. You know it's a choke when the New Zealand media call it one, as the New Zealand Herald did here:
New Zealand certainly know something about World Cup chokes.
