Ireland began their T20 World Cup campaign this afternoon against Oman. The game featured this incredible save by Irish wicket-keeper Gary Wilson at the boundary to prevent Oman hitting six:

Sadly, in spite of Wilson's best efforts, Ireland lost out to Oman by two wickets in a desperately disappointing defeat. It was a shock defeat for Ireland, with this clash Oman's first ever appearance in the tournament. The result all but ends Ireland's hopes of progressing to the next round, with Bangladesh to come on Friday.
