At Australia's Big Bash League meeting between Adelaide Strikers and the Brisbane Heat on Wednesday, we were treated to a surreal moment as a perfectly positioned cricket security guard pulled off the most nonchalant catch you're likely to see.
What was more remarkable, however, was his reaction.
The guy genuinely didn't give a shit. Despite the crowd gasping and cheering, he tossed the ball back to a fielder and casually offered a solitary thumb in acknowledgment.
It was extremely well played.
No reaction, that's what I do. I just shell peas, no worries.
The Aussie commentary as always enhancing the clip.
Speaking to the media after the game, the security man claimed that he had to make the catch so as not to be hit by the ball. Simple stuff really.
The media and players were more impressed.
What a classic! The safest pair of hands in Adelaide talks us through THAT catch #BBL06 pic.twitter.com/ihvLCzv6Z0

That's what every security man should aspire to be. A safe pair of hands and a cool head. Bravo.
