Cricket Ireland posted an image on twitter earlier announcing the winners.

It appears to be a primary schools competition for both boys and girls, with the "Cailini" version only starting up this year.
Elsewhere the competition which appears to be around for quite a few years is described as
"The Leprechaun Cup continues to be the flagship for cricket development in Leinster with many new schoolchildren now being given the opportunity to play hardball cricket during their primary school years."
Surely there were less offensive names that they could have called the tournament and the least they could have done to rub it in, was award the winners a pot of gold but not, just medals it appears.
