Insufferable eejit Piers Morgan has today upset a number of people on social media by tweeting his disgust at Eoin Morgan for not singing 'God Save The Queen'.
Eoin Morgan, who hails from Dublin, represented Ireland before being selected for England and subsequently being made captain, and his unwillingness to sing the British anthem has upset some England cricket fans, most notably Piers Morgan who appears to draw energy from the vast majority of the population disliking him greatly.
He tweeted a picture of the Irishman with mouth closed during the anthem to his near five million followers:

When it was pointed out to him that Morgan is Irish, he responded by claiming that he is too, but he would still sing the anthem:
So am I. But you agree to captain England, you sing the damn anthem. https://t.co/8NKNaZTgcc

I really don't think that's how it works, Piers.
Finally, he tweeted a picture of Kevin Pietersen, a South African, singing the anthem, perhaps feeling that it would somehow justify his ignorance.
Yes, KP sang the anthem. Loudly & proudly. pic.twitter.com/YhO2ssYxtp

Apparently he was unaware of the fact that Eoin Morgan last year cleared up this issue when he revealed that he didn't sing the Irish national anthem either. He just doesn't sing!
Piers Morgan would have known that if he read Balls.ie, but we're not too bothered that he doesn't.
