Liam Thomas is an inspiration to us all.
Next time you're feeling a bit sluggish and tired on a pitch or you're on the couch after work and can't be bothered to go for a run, consider for a moment Liam Thomas.
Thomas plays for the England Physical Disabilities Cricket team and was competing in a match against Pakistan at the weekend when his attempt to field a ball was hindered by a slight inconvenience.
His leg fell off.
Undeterred, however, Thomas kept going. He fielded the ball and fired it back towards the wicket before turning back towards his leg, which was now lying on the ground several feet behind him.
English cricketer Liam Thomas loses artificial leg mid game, still keeps going.

So, after a weekend when thousands of heroes completed the Dublin marathon on Sunday and Liam Thomas fields a ball despite losing a leg, what's your excuse for not taking the dog for a walk?
