West Indies bowler Shannon Gabriel was warned by umpires regarding his conduct during day three of the third test between his side and England in St. Lucia.
During the match, England captain Joe Root was picked up by Sky Sports cameras telling Gabriel: "Don't use it as an insult. There's nothing wrong with being gay."
Exactly what Gabriel had said to receive this advice from Root is unknown but the fast bowler was warned by umpires Rod Tucker and Kumar Dharmasena.

"Sometimes things are said on the field but they should stay on the field," Root subsequently told BBC.
"I think they can sometimes be caught in the moment and not always say what you want to say or think you're saying.
"I think you should leave it there."
