Wow!

Ireland have made absolute shit of England this morning... in cricket... at test match level... at Lord's.

Not a bad way to start Ireland's first ever test match against England. England won the toss and decided to bat, expecting no doubt to put Ireland to the sword, and bat for the day, putting up a solid total north of 400. Instead, they've been bowled out before lunch on Day 1, scoring just 85 runs.

Tim Murtagh was undoubtedly the hero of the hour, taking five wickets for just 13 runs. Boyd Rankin came in and cleaned up the tail then wrapping up with three wickets.

The wickets just kept on coming anjd coming, shocking the crowd and commentators alike. It puts Ireland in an incredible position ahead of their first innings this afternoon.

Enjoy the Ireland wickets from possibly the greatest two hour spell in the history of Irish cricket.
