Ireland played England in a cricket one day international in front of a full house in Malahide today. Ireland were put in to bat first and set England a target of 270 runs, thanks to the 112 runs made by captain William Porterfield, while Derry-born Boyd Rankin bowled four wickets for England. England looked uncomfortable for much of their innings and were at 48-4 at one point, before a century by Irish exile Eoin Morgan helped them to a comfortable victory.
