Come on you boys in...white?
England are rattled, and Ireland are flying!
Today was already a historic day for Irish cricket, with England hosting Ireland in a test match for the first time in the history. That's its taking place on a sweltering summer's day in Lords, the home of cricket, just made it all the more remarkable.
Whatever happened out in the field, it was always going to be an emotional and memorable day for the Irish cricket team and the many fans, coaches, and former players who have helped get Ireland to this stage over many, many years of development and hard work.
What nobody could have foreseen however, is just how well it's gone for the team in the early stages of the test match. Ireland, remarkably, have taken seven English wickets in just over an hour.
Lucky boy Roy! 🍀
Jason Roy looks to be trapped LBW for 5 on debut - but it is a no ball!

The pitch is very green, which won't be of help to batsmen, but even still, the absolute collapse of England's top order has thrown Ireland into an incredible position, with England currently on barely 50 runs for their seven wickets.
England captain Joe Root was trapped LBW by Mark Adair, while Tim Murtagh has taken an incredible five wickets for just 11 runs.
It's going from bad to worse for England... 🏴
Root is trapped LBW by Adair and is given out on review!
What a day for Ireland! 🍀

What a start! At this rate, it's hard not to make Ireland favourites, although there is a lot of cricket still to be played. Let's just hope they can take care of the tail-enders before lunch!
