'A little header into the bottom corner' they called it in commentary. It was also labeled 'one of the most bizarre dismissals you'll ever see.'
During a Big Bash League game in Melbourne, Adam Zampa invented - inadvertently - a new way of getting an opponent out.
Zampa, playing for Melbourne Stars, bowled to Dwayne Bravo of the Melbourne Renegades. Bravo's strike was directed towards teammate Peter Nevill whose bat it hit before taking another deflection off the nose of Adam Zampa and then hit the stumps.
Somehow, Zampa was left unbloodied. Still though - ouch.
