The Cricket World Cup begins tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand. England have always enjoyed a great sporting rivalry with the Aussies and the locals have taken this opportunity to rile up their opponents ahead of the clash between the two nations.

Melbourne plays host to the game between the two teams on Saturday and posters looking for "missing balls" have appeared around the city. The poster continues "If found please return to the English cricket team" and can be found on billboards and subways. A spokeswoman for Cricket Australia had to confirm that they were in no way responsible for the posters but that hasn't stopped the hashtag #MissingBalls trending down under.

The English players never need an excuse to want to put one over on their antipodean rivals but this prank has ensured that they will be especially impassioned ahead of the encounter.
