The next time we see Andy Lee it could be the biggest night in recent history for Irish professional boxing. If the reports are to be believed, both Belfast's Carl Frampton, and Limerick's Andy Lee are set to be on the same card in a blockbuster night for Irish boxing.

Frampton is in line for a WBA featherweight title fight against Leo Santa Cruz as has been expected, while Lee looks like he'll also be afforded a title match against WBA middleweight champion Danny Jacobs.

The reports suggest that the fights will take place on July 30th, and they are rumoured to be in New York. Some reports hint at a Madison Square Garden showdown - but the majority think that the night will be at Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
