Katie Taylor comfortably defended her WBA and IBF lightweight titles in London's O2 Arena last night as she secured a third-round knockout against Kimberly Connor.
Taylor's superiority was evident from the moment the bout began and come the third Connor was legless before the fight was brought to a halt. However, after the bout 37-year-old Connor paid a visit to Taylor and declared her admiration for the Bray women.
You're living my dream, you know. I am really proud of you.

Taylor's rapid ascent through the paid ranks is set to escalate even further later this year as she defends her title against Cindy Serrano in Chicago on October 6. This is a significant event as Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn recently agreeing a $1bn with US streaming giant DAZN.
