It looks like it's time for Roy Jones Jr. to retire.
The veteran fighter took on Enzo Maccarinelli in Russia on Saturday evening, and he was put away with the type of finish you normally only see in a Rocky movie or a video game as his motionless body slumped onto the canvas in the fourth round.
At 46, surely it time to hang up the gloves.
Many of those watching that KO shared the above sentiment on twitter:
Roy Jones needs to retire asap, he has nothing to offer nor prove. Needs to think of his health at this stage #sad #clockkeepsticking

Time for my old friend Roy Jones, Jr. to finally and conclusively retire. Only a 5 year wait to the HOF. Congrats to my pal @theRealEnzoMac.

Roy Jones Jr got KO'd by Enzo Maccarinelli in 2015. This shouldn't be happening.

Boxing is a beautiful sport but it's sad when you see fighters stay in the ring too long. Poignant to watch Roy Jones Jr experience this.
