When it comes to the worst infractions inside a boxing ring, biting an opponent is probably the lowest of the low. Mike Tyson famously did it to Evander Holyfield, biting off his ear in 1997. While this incident was not on that level, it was shocking to see nonetheless.
Kash Ali was facing David Price in a bout in Liverpool this evening, with Ali hoping to extend his undefeated record as a pro to 16-0. He would not manage it however, after getting disqualified for biting his opponent in the fifth round. He actually had the audacity to do it four times during the bout, being caught by the referee on two occasions.

Speaking after the incident, Tony Bellew said that Ali should never be allowed to box again.

His bottle went and he reverted to disgusting things that have no place in a boxing ring. He bit him not once, not twice, not even three times, he bit him four times. The referee caught him twice.
He's a disgrace. He shouldn't ever be allowed back into a boxing ring again.
