Today, the final rounds of boxing for the Commonwealth games take place. It ended in disappointment for the Northern Ireland boxers who lost all six finals they contested but the entire tournament was a reminder once again of the talent currently amidst the amateur ranks on this isle.
No golds unfortunately for Team NI boxing, but still fantastic achievements, well done to all the fighters, special shoutout to my Da John Conlan who’s had another very successful games, I know you’ll be unhappy without golds but still a fantastic achievement well done love ya x

One of the star's of the tournament was undoubtedly Cameron's Wilfried Seyi, who's 'drunk boxing style' brought him all the way to the final. His celebration was also unconventional.
Unfortunately for Seyi, he had to settle for a silver medal losing out in today's final to Vikas Krishan.
Wilfried Seyi perd en finale mais enrichit la cagnotte du #Cameroun d'une médaille d'argent.
