Six Irish boxers have now qualified for the Olympics later this year.
On Sunday afternoon, David Oliver Joyce became the latest when he defeated Turkey's Volkan Gokcek in a box-off at the European Olympic qualifiers.
Earlier this week, Joyce lost to Welshman Joseph Cordina in the lightweight semi-finals which set up the bout with Gokcek.
The Athy fighter's reaction to securing Olympic qualification was one of pure elation.
