Belfast's Paddy Barnes secured a comprehensive points victory over India's Devendro Lashram to claim his second successive Commonwealth title in the light flyweight division.
On the podium, he made it clear to the other medallists and the viewing public that Northern Ireland's Commonwealth Games anthem, the Londonderry Air - better known as Danny Boy - holds no significance for him whatsoever. He can be clearly seen saying "that's not my anthem".
Michael Conlon also won gold in the ring for NI this afternoon, while Michaela Walsh said she felt "cheated" after her defeat to England's Nicola Adams.
Dear, dear, Paddy Barnes. Danny Boy isn't anyone's anthem. That's precisely why they used it.

Paddy Barnes is now a 2 x Olympic medallist and 2 x commonwealth champion. Can't comprehend how great that is.
