Katie Taylor is through to another World Championship final after a TKO victory over her Chinese opponent Jinhua Yin in Jeju on Sunday. Taylor will face Azerbaijan's Yana Allekseevana in the final on Monday after Yin's corner threw in the towel at the beginning of the fourth round with the Chinese fighter having injured her elbow.
Despite a solid defence from her opponent, it was something of a surprise to Taylor and her corner that the judges only had the bout narrowly scored in favour of the Irishwoman going into the final round. However, a win it is and Taylor moves into her fifth world championship final hoping to equal Mary Kom's record of five world titles. The fight takes place on Monday morning at 6 a.m. Irish time.
