A title defence against Billy Joe Saunders in Thomond, it would just be the icing on the cake. All of Ireland is rightly proud of Andy Lee but he is a son of Limerick first and foremost and they certainly welcomed him home with open arms today. Lee stepped off the plane in Shannon and, after his mum Anne got a chance to give him a hug, it was time for the rest of the city to show just how delighted they were with his new status as a world champion.
