Tyson Fury Retires
World heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has announced that he has retired from boxing following a positive test for cocaine on September 22nd.
Taking to Twitter, as he tends to, Fury - who was set to be stripped of his world titles - told fans and critics:
Boxing is the saddest thing I ever took part in, all a pile of shit, I'm the greatest, & I'm also retired, so go suck a dick, happy days.

The 28-year-old retires with a professional record of 25 wins (18 knockouts) and zero defeats, having won the World heavyweight championship with a points victory over the long-reigning Wladimir Klitschko last winter.
After his rematch with Klitschko was cancelled for a second time, it subsequently emerged via reports from Dan Rafael on ESPN that Fury had tested positive for cocaine, after much speculation as to his mental health. It's fair to say retirement was then always on the cards...

At a recent event in the UK, when asked by Steve Bunce how he was feeling, Fury responded that 'he kept hearing he had gone mad'.
The soon-to-be-former World heavyweight champion has been openly battling depression throughout his boxing career, and has himself claimed on occasion that he believes himself to be bipolar. He walks away from the sport undefeated but with a tarnished reputation.
