In what will certainly go down as his softest fight on this comeback trail, Tyson Fury nevertheless got his boxing career back on track tonight with a straight-forward defeat of Sefer Seferi.
Entertaining the Manchester crowd throughout, Fury's dominance of the ring was never really threatened throughout, and, after some initial toying with his opponent, Seferi retired in his corner at the end of the fourth round.
🥊 It's all over!

However, through a combination of Fury's antics and Seferi's decision to drop out, plenty were left angered at the spectacle as a whole.
@Tyson_Fury welcome back but you ain’t beating me with that Crap lol lmfao.

That’s a special level of farce.

Tyson Fury was always going to be rusty, and a bit chubby around the waist. The issue was putting him up against a cruiserweight with such a weight, height and reach disadvantage - this was never going to be a decent watch but somehow managed to be worse than I expected.

This fight is embarrassing 🤦🏾♂️

This Fury fight is one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen in sport...

Fury gets the win, bloke retired on his stool. Not exactly the best outcome but hopefully it’s the start again for Tyson Fury.

In a horrendous fight Tyson Fury wins by TKO4 when Seferi quit on his stool. #boxing #FurySeferi

What a load of shite that ‘fight’ was.
— Gareth Roberts (@robbohuyton) June 9, 2018
This is a joke. Seferi doesn’t want to fight, and Fury is watching a fight in the crowd rather than engage, too #FurySeferi

Most exciting thing about that fight was the fight outside the ring. #Fury

Speaking afterward, Fury's promoter Frank Warren did reveal that Fury would be on the card for Carl Frampton's Windsor Park bout later this year.
It's official! 🙌
