No one was expecting that. Katie Taylor, usually one to turn up and record a victory - has lost a fight that would have qualified her for the 2016 Olympics.
The defeat to the Azerbaijani fighter Alekeseeva shocked everyone - with the vast majority of people unable to string more than these three words together - "Katie... Taylor... lost?".
People have the same look of confusion on their face as a toddler wondering how their parents took their nose.
