Terence Crawford retained his WBO welterweight title with a thrilling stoppage of Jose Benavidez Jr in Omaha on Saturday night.
Crawford had dominated the fight but it still looked like it would go the distance. That was until late in the 12th round.
With 42 seconds remaining, Crawford landed a brutal uppercut which put his opponent on the deck.
Somehow, Benavidez managed to regain his feet. The fight would not last much longer, though.
Benavidez on the ropes, the referee called a halt with 18 seconds of the fight to go.
