McKenna is following in the footsteps of younger brother Aaron, an Irish boxing prodigy who has already collected seven wins at welterweight in the paid ranks. Stevie boasts an immense amateur record and has already sparred with three-weight world champion and the world's pound-for-pound best Vasyl Lomachenko.
His victory comes a year after Aaron also defeated Freeman within a round.
