Fans were left disappointed last week when news came out that the highly anticipated rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano was to be postponed as part of the card postponement for Jake Paul-Mike Tyson.

The news came as a disappointment for boxing fans as the decision to pull the whole card because of Mike Tyson's ulcer flare up meant that we were now missing out on a rematch over 2 years in the making between Taylor and Serrano and neither fighter were injured.

However reports have come pout today saying the we could still get to see Taylor-Serrano II later this year, on its own card and it will be closer to home for many Taylor fans.

In a report by Johnny Watterson in the Irish Times, the planned rematch between Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano will now take place in Germany. It will reportedly happen in October or November and Frankfurt will be the host of the event.

The two have experience main eventing big cards before, having been the first women to headline a boxing event at Madison Square Garden when they faced off for the first time in 2022.

It is unclear as of now whether the planned Jake Paul-Mike Tyson fight will go ahead at this event but it's seems unlikely at this time. In the original statement about the postponement of the card MVP Promotions said that they Paul-Tyson bout will be rescheduled for the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas later this year with a new date to be announced later this week.

MVP anticipates rescheduling the match to later this year at AT&T Stadium, and we look forward to an exciting and well-prepared contest between these two exceptional athletes. The new date of the fight will be announced by next Friday, June 7th.

Hopefully this report comes into fruition and we get to see the fight all fans want to see and maybe a few more Katie fans will make the trip over to Germany.
