Ahead of his World middleweight title clash (albeit at 155lbs) versus Mexican superstar Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, two-time 140lb world champion Amir Khan has been tacking on serious mass.
The rapid former Olympic silver medallist from Bolton is making the significant jump from welterweight for the mega-money scrap on May 7th.
But where a certain 'Mystic Mac' from a different sport has recently bragged about being able to eat an extra breakfast, it appears the usually lean Khan is going full 'Fat Mac' from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia season 7.
Wow, Amir Khan looks horrible. He's moving up in weight but still looks like he'll be in fat reducing camp for Canelo pic.twitter.com/lOz6YEj4Zt

Truth be told, there may be more to the Mac comparison than a cheap gag at Khan's expense; presumably he is looking to genuinely cultivate mass at his nutritional and conditioning teams' behest, with a view to reshaping his body to deal with the far larger Canelo's physical power.
But, as Carl Froch told Sky Sports while standing alongside Khan after Frampton - Quigg:
It could go terribly wrong for him!
Maybe the 29-year-old Brit should try some 'Mexican ephedra pills'.
