Yesterday we brought you the news that Andy Lee's WBO World middleweight title defence against Billy Joe Saunders has been postponed for a second time, following a cut to Saunders suffered in sparring.
Limerick's favourite scrapper since Paul O'Connell buried Jamie Cudmore in 2008, Lee confirmed the postponement on Off The Ball last night, going on to give a very strong reaction the Billy Walsh situation which has rocked Irish sport.
The WBO champ acknowledged that a picture he had seen of Saunders' cut looked bad, and that the undefeated Brit had required 10 stitches. We believe him:

Shit sure seems to be happening to this fight more than most.
Lee told Off The Ball that the fight will likely be rescheduled for early December to allow for Saunders' cut to heal, with London being the probable destination for what remains a feverishly anticipated Ireland vs England middleweight title clash.
