Wether it's in front of thousands at the MGM Grand or in front of a few officials in a gym in Belfast, there's not too many different ways to go with a weigh in. You walk out, strip to your tighty whiteys, show some bicep and then square up to your opponent. It's a tried and tested formula.
Perhaps then we should all congratulate Irish boxer Joe Fitzpatrick for trying to do something a little different.
Brilliant! @fitzpatrickjoe weighs in ahead of tomorrow’s bout in Belfast pic.twitter.com/46ICaQoeEB

Fitzpatrick takes on Zoltan Horvath on a Belfast card which also features fellow undefeated Irish fighters Tommy McCarthy and Tyrone McKenna. We're going to assume that once the makini comes off it'll be all down to business for Fitzpatrick (or something slightly less suggestive than that).
True to my word, the mankeeny was on, First on tomorrow night so see you all there early #TeamDragon #Yeha pic.twitter.com/9KDEdsGdAl
