Paddy Barnes' proficiency as a pugilist is second only to his parental dedication.
Not dissimilar to his old pal Mick Conlan, it's rare a journalist will get the Irish boxing icon on the phone without a conversation being punctuated by cries of 'Daddy!', and the unmistakeable sound of a tired fighter bending down to pick up his wee one, phone tucked under his ear.
For Barnes and countless others, it will always be family first, fighting second - even if the latter is largely undertaken to take care of the former.
The buildup to the three-time Olympian's professional debut saw Barnes' training camp - or more pertinently, lack thereof - widely publicised. With partner Mari sick in hospital after giving birth to the couple's second daughter, Fíanna, Barnes became a part-time boxer, full-time babysitter to his eldest child, Eireann. He wouldn't have had it any other way.
Yesterday, the two-time Olympic bronze medallist and 2-0 pro posted a video to his social channels once more depicting the lengths he's willing to go to in order to make his children happy, featuring an Easter Bunny costume-clad Barnes surprising Eireann with a batch of Easter eggs.
His neat footwork was almost eerily similar to that of an actual rabbit, and while many viewers may find the following footage disturbing for various reasons - not least the fact that it features a silent, human-sized coinín leaping towards a near-helpless child - Eireann displayed a level of courage not dissimilar to her oul'fella in standing her ground and embracing her challenger.

In fairness, that's a serious effort by daddy Barnes...we hope.
No that's the actual real Easter bunny
