The main event proved not to be a disappointment, as Leo Santa Cruz edged Carl Frampton on a majority decision in their rematch in Las Vegas. The result, along with another awesome spectacle necessitates a third fight, with both fighters using their post-fight interviews to call for a trilogy.
The undercard was similarly compelling, and for a brief, blood-curdling moment, was wreathed in brutality by Mikey Garcia. The American left opponent Dejan Zlaticinin motionless beneath the ropes with a frightening combination.

Good grief. Garcia is now a three-weight world champion and increasingly a PPV star: his pro record reads 36-0. 30 of those victories came through knockout.
