The super-fight that absolutely every boxing fan wants to see might finally be taking place on May 2, 2015.
Earlier today we heard reports that Manny Pacquiao had finally agreed to terms which would see the fight take place, but the word was that we were still waiting for Mayweather's side to give the all clear. Unfortunately, we are still waiting for official confirmation from Floyd, but Sam Watson, a long time associate of Mayweather has said that he believes it's a done deal, and the announcement will come soon.
They’re putting it together now. They’re going to do a Showtime-HBO [joint pay-per-view] like they did last time with Lennox Lewis and Mike Tyson. They’re working on the monies now and everything they’ve got to work on to make it happen. I can’t wait. It’s going to be huge.
Huge is an understatement, we've been waiting what seems like an age for this fight, which would be the richest fight in boxing history by some distance.
