Paulie Malignaggi and Artem Lobov's much touted possible fight in Bare Knuckle FC took another step towards happening today as the duo clashed during a media event.
It has been widely reported that former UFC athlete Lobov will face off against Malignaggi this year in BKFC. Malignaggi, who famously sparred Lobov's team-mate Conor McGregor while he was preparing to fight Floyd Mayweather, has been outspoken in recent weeks about the possibility.
On Tuesday, the pair came face-to-face and Malignaggi slapped Lobov at Mendez Boxing in New York.

Malignaggi signed with BKFC earlier this year and is set for a June debut against a to-be-determined opponent. Meanwhile, Lobov is scheduled to fight UFC veteran Jason Knight. He is currently sparring with several Irish boxers, including Dubliner Victor Rabei.
