Kellie Harrington will go home from the Olympic Games with at least a bronze medal after she won her lightweight quarter-final against Algeria's Imane Khelif on Tuesday.
Harrington secured Ireland's fourth medal of Tokyo 2020 with a unanimous decision victory over Khelif.
It is Ireland's second boxing medal of the Games, adding to the bronze which was claimed by Aidan Walsh in the men's welterweight division.

Harrington took the first round on four of the judges' cards. Only the Russian judge awarded it to Khelif.
The two rounds which followed were dominated by the Irish boxer as she took them on all five judges' cards. She won the fight 30-27, 30-27, 30-27, 30-27, 29-28.
In the semi-final, the 31-year-old will face a familiar opponent: Sudaporn Seesondee of Thailand. Harrington defeated Seesondee in the 2018 world final. Seesondee beat Great Britain's Caroline Dubois by split decision, 3-2, in her quarter-final.
The semi-final will take place at 6am (Irish time) on Thursday, August 5th.
