Katie Taylor and her German opponent Nina Meinke have weighed in for their WBA Intercontinental title scrap at Wembley Stadium tomorrow.
Over 9,000 fans were expected to show up for Anthony Joshua's final face-to-face with Wladimir Klitschko before the pair's heavyweight showdown at the home of English football, and a significant portion of watched Taylor hit the scales for the biggest fight of her pro career to date.
Just as she did prior to her last fight, versus Milena Koleva, the 4-0(2KOs) Bray woman weighed in at 134.5lbs.
WBC Youth champion Meinke [5-0, 2KOs] has campaigned at featherweight throughout her career, and tipped the scales at a career-high 132.5lbs.
Their subsequent staredown was interesting if not intense. A polite nod from Taylor drew a close to a rather friendly affair. One would imagine it'll get a lot less friendly beneath the Wembley arch tomorrow night.
