Katie Taylor made it three from three as a pro with an easy win against journeywoman fighter Monica Gentili. The fight seemed to be easing towards a decision victory but Taylor absolutely uncorked an unholy combo on Gentili and the ref had no choice but to stop the fight.
After four rounds of dominance, Taylor finished the fight in the fifth as she connected with some devastating punches to send Gentili to the canvas.
Pete Taylor said this week that he'd never heard of Gentili before this week and it was a complete destruction for the Bray woman, who is now 3-0 as a pro. Taylor was especially impressive in the third round, where she battered Gentili with her left hook.
