Eddie Hearn says a rematch between Katie Taylor and Chantelle Cameron is likely to happen this November.
Taylor suffered the first defeat of her professional career at the 3Arena in May when she lost by majority decision to English fighter Cameron at 140lbs. The bout was also Taylor's first fight in Ireland since she turned professional in late 2016.
"Katie is going to exercise that rematch clause against Chantel Cameron," Hearn, who is Taylor's promoter, told the Matchroom Boxing YouTube channel.
"We’ll plan that fight for November time.
"It’s gonna be a huge fight. There was no talking Katie Taylor into any other fight. All she wanted was a chance to rematch Chantel Cameron.
"Chantelle Cameron will come into that fight as the A side, as the favourite as well and it’ll be a massive night."
Following last month's match, Hearn said that the 3Arena, rather than a stadium like Croke Park, was the most likely venue for a rematch.
"Maybe, I mean again it depends on timing," he told the MMA Hour.
"September’s kind of the latest that you can have that fight.
"I think a stadium would be fun, but it was pretty good in there on Saturday, I loved the arena, just unbelievable.
"And one of the things I enjoyed most about Saturday was it was a 9,000 arena, at 6:30pm - 6:45pm we had 7,000 people in. The main event was at 10:30pm - 10:45pm."
