The Brits are at it again. Theirs is a country much changed today, not exactly built as it is collapsing in on itself on top of the disingenuous concepts of "strength" and "stability", but somethings don't really change. They are still culturally appropriating much of the rest of the world, one sports news story at a time.
Weeks after BT Sport managed to ignore the Republic of Ireland in a social media post about the Lions - hastily correcting it to portray a United Ireland - Sky Sports have taken their turn. While cutting to an ad on Sky Sports News today, Jim White asked if Katie Taylor "could add to Britain's list of World Champions" later this year.
No, Jim, no she can't.
