It's rare these days that an event hyped up beyond belief not only delivers on it's promise, but surpasses expectation with the eyes of the world on it, but that can be said of Anthony Joshua vs Wladimir Klitschko, as nobody who watched it left with anything other than total satisfaction.
And it felt like one of those moments that had gripped the attention of the masses as everyone was transfixed on the events that were unfolding at Wembley.
It will go down as a classic, and such was the level of quality on show coupled with the respect each fighter held for their opponent, it was just a really good night for the sport, and heavyweight boxing in particular.
Anthony Joshua's next step looks likely to coincide with Tyson Fury's return to action, as he called Fury out in his post-fight interview in the ring. Sure enough, the response didn't take long.
Wellldone @anthonyfjoshua good fight, you had life & death with @klitschko & I played with the guy, let's dance ? pic.twitter.com/alLRHPb513

But Tyson Fury wasn't the only one happy to see the young Englishman overcome the challenge of Klitschko. Deyontay Wilder had a front-row seat as he did a bit of punditry for Sky Box Office and he too was quick to let Joshua know that he wants to get involved.
Everything is going as planned. I see you @anthonyfjoshua ? Don't get too comfortable. #ImComingForYou #BombZquad #Unify2017 #WilderJoshua
