It's been some week for Belfast's Conlan brothers.
Just days removed from Mick Conlan's announcement that he'll be turning pro with Top Rank in the U.S. of A, his older brother, Commonwealth super-flyweight champion Jamie, has received one of boxing's most prestigious accolades on this side of the pond.
The latter's incredible come-from-the-canvas victory over South Shields' Anthony Nelson back in April, in which he won the Commonwealth strap, has been voted the British Boxing Board of Control Fight Of The Year.

And what a bloody fight it was. 'The Mexican' dropped his undefeated opponent hard in the opening exchanges before coming under intense pressure from Nelson, with his sharp, come-forward shots.
The former Commonwealth champion settled before responding in kind, dropping his Irish adversary in the third with a beautiful counter-right as Conlan fought off the ropes. Then, after three more rounds of non-stop action, Conlan found himself on the brink once more. To those who've seen him fight, it was hardly shocking that he responded with a curtain-dropping body shot to rip the belt from the superb Nelson.
You can watch the fight back in full, here, and we recommend that you do.
