Carl Frampton and Scott Quigg went toe-to-toe at the Manchester Arena on Saturday night for the IBF and WBA super-bantamweight world titles.
Frampton just edged the bout by split decision to unify the belts. Two judges scored the fight 116-112 for Frampton. However, controversially, a third scored it 116-112 in favour of Quigg.
Frampton is one the North's greatest sportsmen right now and so draws the support of many famous fellow Northern Irishmen.
In attendance last night were AP McCoy and Martin O'Neill. Also along for the ride was actor James Nesbitt who was clearly enjoying the pre-fight festivities.
I think Jimmy enjoyed it! https://t.co/ZqdgyeFE94

Nesbitt was interviewed on Sky Box Office before the fight. His thoughts were, just about, comprehensible.
I'm here with a lot of people and they're saying 'You can't wear a football shirt' but I thought, I might be on... Carl's from Northern Ireland and he's doing a lot for Northern Ireland, Carl Frampton.
Here's Nesbitt's appearance on Sky.
