After a fight which featured enough plots twists to make M. Night Shyamalan blush, Anthony Joshua stood in the Wembley ring on Saturday night, Wladimir Klitschko defeated and microphone in hand.
His next fight was already on his mind. The opponent: Tyson Fury, the man who defeated Wladimir Klitschko 17 months before Joshua.
Tyson Fury where you at, baby?
I love fighting. Tyson Fury, I know he's been talking a lot and he wants to come back and compete. I want to give 90,000 people another chance to witness another night of boxing. I just want to fight everyone.
Fury has not fought since that night in Dusseldorf against Klitschko. He has also vacated the titles he won in November 2015.
Still, Fury is the most intriguing possible opponent for Joshua. He's also someone whose style could really bother the 27-year-old.
After Joshua had called him out live on Sky Sports, Fury was quick to respond.
Wellldone @anthonyfjoshua good fight, you had life & death with @klitschko & I played with the guy, let's dance 💃 pic.twitter.com/alLRHPb513
