YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI are set to square off in a boxing match tomorrow night in Los Angeles, something Katie Taylor recently described as a 'mockery' to the sport.
The event has been described as a money grabbing exercise by all involved, with many in the boxing world concerned by the direction this takes the sport in.
The two YouTubers have been vocal in the buildup to the fight, repeatedly expressing their fierce dislike of each other as they attempt to drum up some interest in the scrap. Their original meeting in Manchester last year finished in a draw.
Unlike the first fight, this one has been given a professional boxing licence, setting what many consider to be a dangerous precedent.
One person that isn't taking the whole thing too seriously is Eddie Hearn. The promoter's Matchroom Boxing are behind the bout, but Hearn told Boxing Social that the pair seem to know little about the world of boxing.
They don’t know enough about boxing, they don’t really respect the game enough to think about what they are saying.
Fighters say stuff like that all the time, no one ever means it, but I didn’t like it when that was said multiple times. ‘But I’ve heard it this week, last week, the week before.
I don’t think they know enough about the game to know they shouldn’t really be saying that, in my opinion.
Hearn also admitted he isn't taking this too seriously and that they aren't actually very good at the sport:
I just think don’t take it too seriously, it is what it is. I’m excited to see what’s going to happen because I don’t know what’s going to happen.
I know they both really badly want to win, and they are both probably going to crack under the pressure.
They’re both not very good… they think they are now. But the reality is when someone gets hit the world is going to change for them.
