Eddie Hearn says that Katie Taylor and Cecilia Braekhus are likely to meet next year.
38-year-old Norwegian Braekhus made her 25th world championship defence on Saturday night, defeating Victoria Bustos by unanimous decision - 99-91, 98-92, 98-92 - in Monte Carlo.
Braekhus, whose record moved to 36-0 with last night's victory, is the undisputed welterweight world champion. The win was her first fight in nearly a year.
"Of course, the future is Katie Taylor against Cecilia Braekhus, two undisputed world champions," Hearn told Sky Sports.
"I think, another fight for both in the spring and then a summer fight [is likely]. It's the biggest fight in boxing. We need to make that fight.
"Cecilia has broken down the doors in professional boxing. She wants to make sure that she can have the biggest fights out there.
"Those two are on a collision course. 2020, we will definitely see that fight."
Katie Taylor became a two-weight world champion with victory over Christina Linardatou in Manchester last month.
