The Olympics had come and nearly gone with the anti-Traveller bile non-existent. That was until tonight when after John Joe Nevin's fight against Luke Campbell the business account of Dublin restaurant 'herbstreet' tweeted this deplorable attempt at humour.

This was followed by a cowardly attempt to feign innocence.

However, a similar punctuation style in the offending tweet and previous tweets makes it very hard to believe the excuse. You will notice that in previous tweets the sender puts a space before full stops and some other punctuation marks, exactly the same as the offending tweet. If it was sent by a "prat who picked up picked up my phone in the pub" then the prat was very thorough in mimicking the previous tweets of the account.

It takes disgusting ignorance to think that anything like this passes as humour anymore. Whenever it does rear it's ugly head it should be highlighted and condemned to ensure people know that it is not acceptable.
