Chantelle Cameron has revealed that she will fight Katie Taylor on the 25th of May in the 3Arena, instead of Croke Park as originally anticipated.
This will be the pair's third fight after two memorable events at the same venue. Cameron became the first boxer to defeat Katie Taylor in her professional career after she was victorious in points in May 2023.
Taylor came back in November to claim her victory in their rematch last November to become a two-weight world champion at both Lightweight and Light Welter-weight.

Cameron: Katie Taylor got "a little bit of help"
Following the November fight, there were consistent calls for a trilogy match to take place between the two in Croke Park. However, the Croke Park rumours have been shut down after Cameron confirmed a 3Arena date, speaking to the Independent UK on Tuesday:
A date has been set, 25 May. Me and Katie both want the fight, it's just to do with us getting paid the correct money. Croke Park’s not happening, it’s gonna be at the 3Arena.
After confirming the official date for the final fight in the pair's trilogy, Cameron referenced their last game in November. She implied that Taylor received "a little bit of help" from the referee, deeming it an unfair fight.
I would like a fair fight. I beat her the first time and I think I beat her convincingly. The second fight, she beat me, but do I think the referee gave her a little bit of help? Yeah, I do, because of the headbutts, the holding, everything that was going on.
(That's) my honest opinion, but there is no frustration, because she’s the champion. I’ve got to do what any challenger has to do: go to her backyard and snatch the belts back. That’s my plan.
Cameron also confirmed that she has parted ways with former coach Jamie Moore. She will now work under Sheffield-based trainer, Grant Smith.
It’s been very amicable between me and my old team. I love them to pieces and think the world of them still, there’s been no fallout. It was just the fact that I needed something new, I needed change.
This change was needed. Jamie understood that. We had a conversation, I cried, and we gave each other a hug. We’re still gonna be friends, but I had to do this for my own career – to progress again.
